What I keep thinking about.
The questions and pursuits underneath the work. Some are professional, some are personal, all of them shape what I choose to build.
Autonomous systems
The question that drives most of my work: how far can a software system run itself when humans only set the objective? Multi-agent loops, self-healing patterns, and automated gatekeeping over manual checklists.
Agentic workflows
Designing for the case where an agent, not a person, is the primary operator. Tools, memory, and feedback shaped so the loop improves itself rather than waiting on a human checkpoint.
Community & teaching
Running Learn Claude Code in New York. The fastest way to understand a tool is to teach it to a room of sharp people and watch where they get stuck.
Markets & operating
An operator background across strategy consulting, medtech, fintech, and private equity. I think about products as systems with economics, not just features.
Writing & visual thinking
I work things out in diagrams before prose. Most ideas are clearer as a flow, a swimlane, or a before-and-after than as a paragraph.
Family
A new dad in New York. The clock pressure of a young family sharpens everything: what to build, what to automate, and what is genuinely worth the time.
